tomorrow never knows...
Tomorrow Never Knows
Turn off your mind relax and float down stream
It is not dying, it is not dying
It is not dying, it is not dying
Lay down all thoughts, surrender to the void,
It is shining, it is shining.
It is shining, it is shining.
Yet you may see the meaning of within
It is being, it is being
It is being, it is being
Love is all and love is everyone
It is knowing, it is knowing
It is knowing, it is knowing
And ignorance and hate mourn the dead
It is believing, it is believing
It is believing, it is believing
But listen to the colour of your dreams
It is not leaving, it is not leaving
It is not leaving, it is not leaving
So play the game "Existence" to the end
Of the beginning, of the beginning
Of the beginning, of the beginning

Enjoying the Ride
''Enjoying the RideThe Flow of the Universe
The flow of the universe moves through everything.
It’s in the rocks that form, get pounded into dust, and are blown away, the sprouting of a summer flower born from a seed planted in the spring, the growth cycle that every human being goes through, and the current that takes us down our life’s paths.
When we move with the flow, rather than resisting it, we are riding on the universal current that allows us to flow with life.
Many people live their lives struggling against this current.
They try to use force or resistance to will their lives into happening the way they think it should.
Others move with this flow like a sailor using the wind, trusting that the universe is taking them exactly where they need to be at all times.
This flow is accessible to everyone because it moves through and around us.
We are always riding this flow.
It’s just a matter of whether we are willing to go with it or resist it.
Tapping into the flow is often a matter of letting go of the notion that we need to be in control at all times.
The flow is always taking you where you need to go. It’s just a matter of deciding whether you plan on taking the ride or dragging your feet.
Learning to step into the flow can help you feel a connection to a force that is greater than you and is always there to support you.
The decision to go with the flow can take courage because you are surrendering the notion that you need to do everything by yourself.
Riding the flow of the universe can be effortless, exhilarating, and not like anything that you ever expected.
When you are open to being in this flow, you open yourself to possibilities that exist beyond the grasp of your control.
As a child, you were naturally swept by the flow. Tears of sadness falling down your face could just as quickly turn to tears of laughter. Just the tiniest wave carrying you forward off the shores of the ocean could carry you into peals of delight.
Our souls feel good when we go with the flow of the universe.
All we have to do is make the choice to ride its currents. ''

A gift of Love
«Hurt people hurt people.
Abusive patterns get passed on, generation after generation, but we can break the chain with our choices.
Meet anger with sympathy. Meet contempt with compassion. Meet cruelty with kindness. Meet grimaces with smiles.
When you forget about the fault, there is nothing to forgive. (...)»

letting go of understanding
''All of us who seek to be conscious and aware regard our experiences as teachers, and we try to discern what lessons we are learning from the things that happen in our lives.
Sometimes the lesson is very clear from the get-go, and other times we have to really search to understand the deeper meaning behind some event. While this search often yields results, there also comes a point in the search where what we really need to do is move forward. It is possible that we are not meant to know the deeper meaning of certain occurrences.
Answers may come later in our lives, or they may come as a result of letting go, or they may never come.
We are all part of a complex system of being, and things work themselves out in the system as a whole.
Sometimes we are just playing a necessary part in that process with a result larger than we can understand.
It may have very little to do with us personally, and while that can be hard to understand, it can also free us from overthinking the matter.
Sometimes it is best to see it in terms of karma, a past debt we have been able to repay in this way, or as the clearing of energy.
We can simply thank the event for being part of our experience and let it go. This completes the process that the occurrence has made possible.
To make this letting go official, we can perform a ritual, make a final journal entry on the subject, or sit in meditation with the intention of releasing the event from our consciousness. As we do so, we summon it one last time, honoring it with our attention, thanking it, and saying good-bye. We then let it go out the door, out the window, out the top of our heads, or into the earth through the bottoms of our feet, liberating ourselves from any burden we have carried in association with it. filhos e filhas de mil homens
«Todos nascemos filhos de mil pais e de mil mães, e a solidão é sobretudo a incapacidade de ver qualquer pessoa como nos pertencendo, para que nos pertença de verdade e se gere cuidado mútuo. Como se os nossos mil pais e mais mil mães coincidam em parte, como se fôssemos por aí irmãos, irmãos uns dos outros. Somos o resultado de tanta gente, de tanta história, de grandes sonhos que vão passando de pessoa a pessoa , que nunca estaremos sós.»

heart beats
''
The rhythm of drumming is easy for our bodies to take in as was the rhythm of our mother's heartbeat.
That rhythm renews us is no secret.
Drumming is the oldest form of music on the planet.
Virtually every culture that exists or has existed on earth has practiced some form of drumming.
In Africa, the beating of a drum continues to be an important part of significant ceremonies and holiday celebrations. Native American cultures use drumming as a means to reconnect an individual’s mental and physical selves.
Throughout history, drumming has been a part of performing rituals, marking significant transitions, and celebrating life’s cycles.
Our lives are infused with rhythm beginning at the very moment we first sense our mother’s heartbeat in her womb.
All manner of drumming has the ability to put us in touch with our own natural rhythms, the rhythms of the earth, and the rhythms of the people we choose to drum with.
The drum can represent the heart, and drumming awakens the mind while stirring the soul.
Drumming can take you to a place deep inside you where you are keenly aware of your mind and your body, as well as the vital bond between the two.
Much like human beings, each drum has its own vibration and voice.
Drumming alone can help you release tension, dispel stress and aggressive feelings, and restore your energy. It can also give you an opportunity to reestablish your connection to Mother Earth, as the beat of a drum can represent a crack of lightning, pounding ocean waves, or the tumult of an earthquake.
Drumming with others brings with it many benefits. Taking part in a drumming circle attunes us to the invisible energy that exists between us while uniting us in a common purpose.
Drumming can be relaxing as well as energizing.
It quiets mental chatter and can create a peaceful meditative state.
In Navajo lore, the drum is the Great Spirit’s favorite instrument.
It is said that this is why all human beings were given a heartbeat. The rhythmic beating of a drum can move us into new realms of consciousness.
There is no right or wrong way to drum, and everyone has the innate ability to create rhythm.
When you drum with intention, you’ll discover the rhythms that move you.''
